This condition has been described by R.F. Tuchman and I. Rapin in 1997. The author describes the aspects of pathogenesis, clinical pictures and diagnostics of this disorder, including the peculiar anomalies on EEG (benign epileptiform patterns of childhood), with a high index of epileptiform activity, especially in the sleep. The especial attention is given to approaches to the treatment of autistic epileptiform regression. Efficacy of valproates, corticosteroid hormones and antiepileptic drugs of other groups is considered.</p>
Tuchman и I. Rapin в 1997 году. Рассматривается эффективность препаратов вальпроевой кислоты, кортикостероидных гормонов и антиэпилептических препаратов других групп.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>epilepsy</kwd><kwd>autism</kwd><kwd>autistic epileptiform regression</kwd><kwd>diagnostics</kwd><kwd>treatment</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>эпилепсия</kwd><kwd>аутизм</kwd><kwd>аутистический эпилептиформный регресс</kwd><kwd>диагностика</kwd><kwd>лечение</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">1.
